I believe that one product in our planet that will never become obsolete are watches. With many developments in technology, you would think that watches might become obsolete since touch phones and other devices have taken over the tech industry. Clocks are everywhere, in cars, on buildings and on computers, However, people keep on wearing watches. I think this is because they are stylish and and useful tools that people use more than they think. One sign that watches are not becoming obsolete is that big name companies like Sony, Apple and Microsoft continue to invest in watch development. Watches are also becoming more useful than before, they can notify you of messages, emails and some can even browse the internet. Imagine in 10 years what watches might be like. The advancement of the IPhone might be like the advancement of the apple watch: getting smaller but more powerful every generation. One might argue that the only people who wear watches are older people, because they are familiar with them from their generation. But the opposing argument to this is that the younger generation could be drawn into new watches because of their smart phone like capabilities and technologies. Small watches will also become practical like the iPhone. They will be able to wirelessly connect to headphones for calls and music, and they might even be able to take pictures. The advancement of the watch therefore will lead to this product never becoming obsolete.
